John Leon is, as usual working on several projects:

“I am doing a group of works that are bass players. Most will be in Indiana Limestone and are variations of a theme started in a piece called Guitarchitecture. Some will be in wood and bronze and some will be of bassists, but with different approaches. I hope to be ready for a show in 2008.”

Upcoming Portrait of Kathy Jackman“I am awaiting completion of a granite bench to install my life-sized bronze at the Westover Retirement center in Hamilton, Ohio of Kathy Jackman playing guitar with two children. The piece should be in place by September, 2007.”

“I just delivered two castings of my bronze piece Synchronicity to a client’s homes in Canada and Marathon Key, Florida.”

“My portrait of Harlan Hubbard just finished an exhibition at the Fitton Center for the Arts in Hamilton, Ohio and is now at the Casting Arts and Technology foundry being cast in bronze for a client in Frankfort, Indiana.”
